India-America Relations: Donald Trump has won the US Presidential elections by getting majority. Prime Minister after Trump’s victory Narendra Modi Called Donald Trump and congratulated him. Modi has posted on X, calling Trump his “friend”. After this, now people are talking about the further improvement of relations between India and America. Even during Donald Trump’s first term, his relations with India were much better. However, this time there may be tension between India and America regarding religious matters.
On which religious issue can there be tension?
Donald Trump has said something about Christianity in one of his speeches, which may cause tension in India. In fact, Donald Trump has said that he will advance Christianity and promote Christianity. The situation regarding this is different in India. In India, people of Christian religion have often been accused of forcibly converting Hindu followers.
